Broken, But His.

“His strength is made perfect in the presence of weakness. His grace is sufficient for you irrespective of what you face.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)

We often find ourselves lost, broken, and alone. But we don’t see that God is right there even in our emptiness and loneliness. Let me put this here, You don’t have to be perfect to be loved by Jesus. He is not looking for perfect people. He is looking out for your broken heart. He heals the brokenhearted. It doesn’t matter if you’re broken. You don’t need to ‘fix’ yourself as people ask you to. He accepts you as you are. He knows you. He loves you. And nothing in all creation could ever change that. The one thing that I know through my brokenness is that I need Jesus. You might be a broken vessel but He still wants You. Nothing can change the fact that He died on that cross for our sins. “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” Psalm 147:3

Nobody can love us like Jesus. Who the son sets free is free indeed. He is always beside you, wanting to heal you, love you, and let you know that He is there for you through it all. You just need to open up your heart to Him. Open the door to your heart and let Him in. No sin or shame or brokenness can separate you or me from the Love of Christ.

It’s okay to be broken. It’s okay to be lost. It’s okay to be sad. It’s okay to be mad. It’s okay to be human. Cause you belong to Jesus no matter who you are or what you’ve done.

Deuteronomy 31:6 says, “Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” So, Don’t be afraid my friend, you’re going to get through this. Jesus is with you through it all and He’s never going to leave your side. You may be broken, but you’re His.
